Social media’s content algorithms exacerbate ideological polarization by feeding users more of what they are already inclined to agree with and give the platforms the ability to weight the discourse. Partisan A.I. only intensify this. Social media platforms have learned that serving up an endless stream of personalized, un-challenging content is good for business.
